- 1⚠️ DEPARTMENTAL ONLY — Exclusively for serving regular Central Railway employees
- 2RPF / RPSF personnel are NOT eligible to apply
- 3Employees who have resigned or been transferred from Central Railway are NOT eligible
- 4No minimum service condition required — any regular Central Railway employee can apply
- 5No age relaxation allowed for reserved category candidates applying under UR vacancies
- 6Age calculated as on 01 July 2026 (born on or before 01 July 2008)
- 7Medical standard C1 required
- 8PwBD candidates get 120 minutes exam duration with scribe facility

Selection Process

Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Online CBT of 100 questions / 100 marks / 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD with scribe). Sections: Professional Ability – Nursing (70 marks), General Awareness (10 marks), General Arithmetic / Intelligence / Reasoning (10 marks), General Science (10 marks). Negative marking: 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks: UR 40%, OBC 30%, SC 30%, ST 25%.

Verification of B.Sc. Nursing / GNM certificate, INC registration, service record, category certificate, and identity documents.

Medical ExaminationQualifying
Medical fitness test as per Railway Medical Standard C1 before final appointment.
