This is an internal promotion opportunity exclusively for serving Central Railway employees — RPF/RPSF personnel and transferred/resigned employees are NOT eligible. Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing or GNM (3-year) with Registered Nurse & Midwife certification. Pay Level 7 (₹44,900–₹1,42,400). Selection through CBT (100 marks / 90 minutes) with 1/3 negative marking. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Online CBT of 100 questions / 100 marks / 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD with scribe). Sections: Professional Ability – Nursing (70 marks), General Awareness (10 marks), General Arithmetic / Intelligence / Reasoning (10 marks), General Science (10 marks). Negative marking: 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks: UR 40%, OBC 30%, SC 30%, ST 25%.

Verification of B.Sc. Nursing / GNM certificate, INC registration, service record, category certificate, and identity documents.
