Written Examination – Paper I
Offline MCQ exam. 120 questions / 120 marks / 100 minutes. Sections: General Awareness & Basic Law/Constitution (35), Quantitative Aptitude (15), Mental Ability & Logical Reasoning (15), Language Test – English & Punjabi (30), Digital Literacy (25). Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer.

Written Examination – Paper II (Qualifying)Qualifying
Mandatory qualifying paper of Punjabi Language. 50 questions / 50 marks / 60 minutes. Qualifying in nature — marks not added to merit.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)Qualifying
Height and chest measurement for Warder (Male) and height/weight for Matron (Female) as per PSSSB physical standards.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)Qualifying
100m run, Shot Put, and Rope Climbing as per gender and category standards. Relaxed standards for Ex-Servicemen.

Document VerificationQualifying
Verification of 10th/12th marksheets, Punjabi language proof, Punjab domicile, caste/EWS certificate, and other required documents.

Medical ExaminationQualifying
Medical fitness test including vision check (normal vision mandatory, colour blindness disqualifies for Warder post).
