Physical Standards
Selection Process
- 1
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)Qualifying
Running and endurance-based physical tasks as per CRPF norms. Qualifying in nature.

Physical Standard Test (PST)Qualifying
Height, weight, and chest measurement as per CRPF standards for each trade and category.
- 3
Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Objective MCQ-based written exam covering general knowledge, reasoning, and trade-related topics. Final merit list is based on CBT marks.
- 4
Trade / Skill TestQualifying
Practical skill demonstration in the candidate's chosen trade — Driver (driving test), Motor Mechanic (repair work), Cook (food preparation), Band (instrument), Tailor (stitching), and so on. Qualifying in nature.
- 5
Document VerificationQualifying
Verification of 10th certificate, domicile, category certificate, ITI / driving licence (for technical trades), experience proof, and other required documents.

Medical ExaminationQualifying
Medical fitness test as per CRPF standards before final appointment.
