Stage 1 – Written Examination
Objective or descriptive written exam assessing general knowledge and relevant subject knowledge. Syllabus and exam pattern available in official notification PDF at apsc.nic.in.

Stage 2 – Physical TestQualifying
Physical fitness and endurance test as per APSC Home Guard Service norms. Exact standards (height, chest, running) to be confirmed from official notification.

Stage 3 – Personality Test / Interview
Personal interview conducted by APSC panel to assess candidate's suitability for Home Guard Service.

Stage 4 – Final Merit List
Final selection based on combined performance across all qualifying stages. Merit list published on apsc.nic.in.
